If the famous impressionist Pierre-Auguste Renoir had ever been here in Kaub, he would certainly have chosen our Rhine terrace as his motif. It bears a striking resemblance to his famous work "The Breakfast of the Rowers" from 1881 on the Seine in Chatou.

The title of the painting would probably be "The Breakfast of the Pilots".
