Entering a magical realm. Suddenly, the castles light up in green and red, glowing in the darkness like a thousand stars and mysteriously bathing their towers and battlements in Bengal fire. While the supposed dance on the volcano takes place on the heights, the Rhine glitters with countless colourful lights, and music and a festive atmosphere reign between Binger Mäuseturm and Drachenfels. Small steamers and large ships take part in the nightly parade, decorating their decks in the most beautiful colours and offering a close-up experience. The Rhine is literally ablaze, several times at different locations between May and September:
